The Innkeepers

Sharon and Joe Cluck have owned and operated Rachel's Bed & Breakfast since 1995.  The home was not a B &B when they bought it, but after an array of renovations, it became the premier B & B in the Arcadia Valley area.  For those of you wondering  how Rachel's got its name - it was named after their youngest daughter, who was instrumental in their decision to make the business of hospitality their primary focus.

Prior to opening "Rachel's", Sharon was a registered nurse, therefore, addressing people's needs was "a natural" for her, making the B & B an easy transition.  Joe was formerly a Nursing Home administrator, but has now mastered the ability to wear many hats. He is responsible for all maintenance and landscaping at Rachel's, and as a licensed retired clergy, Joe also performs all the weddings hosted at Rachel's.  Both Sharon, and Joe are ordained ministers who have lived all over the U.S., but have found the serenity of southern Missouri, and the Arcadia Valley area to be their destination.  They are inviting you to make it your destination as well!

Sharon and Joe would probably have totally different responses, when asked what they like most about the business.  Joe might respond  "I like having a family business that creates a common goal for my wife and I - one where we accomplish every task and make every decision together - and where every day at Rachel's  is more like a hobby than a job". On the other hand, Sharon's response is more likely to be "The creativity that comes with granting special wishes for guests, from themed weddings to floral arrangements and wedding cakes, and from room decorations to gift baskets.

Whatever response you get, it will be apparent to every guest that Sharon & Joe  love being your host each and every time you visit.
