The Bolch Mansion location offers a smorgasbord of outdoor adventure! We are less that 20 miles from Taum Sauk Mountain State Park, we offer the closest lodging for floating Black River at K Bridge, Rachel’s Party Pontoon is docked at Bluff View Marina on Clearwater Lake; 25 miles.
Mark Twain National Forest is a bike ride away (bring the mountain bike!), or ride the trails of Sam A. Baker State Park also less than 20 miles from Rachel’s front door! Want to visit Johnson Shut-Ins: 29.7 miles, Elephant Rocks: 22.4 miles. You can shave off a few miles for each of these locations if you don’t mind a little romp through the forest. For romantic luxury, surrounded by Ozark Mountains, peaceful lakes, flowing rivers, waterfalls and state parks there is not a more plentiful source for outdoor recreation in Missouri than you will encounter here.
